Many first-time homeowners in Newport don’t realize that even a beautifully maintained home can hide hidden dangers in its chimney. Creosote buildup, unseen cracks, or blockages from seagull nests (yes, they’re a real nuisance in coastal RI) can turn a cozy fire into a serious hazard. Our certified sweeps use modern tools and old-fashioned thoroughness to spot and fix issues before they become costly repairs or safety risks. We’ll walk you through every step, explaining what we find in plain English, because peace of mind shouldn’t require a chimney-science degree.
We’re a local family-owned business serving Newport and the surrounding Rhode Island coast, because chimneys here face unique challenges. Salt air accelerates wear, wood-burning stoves work overtime in winter, and historic homes often have original flues that need special attention. Whether you’re in a restored Victorian on Bellevue Avenue or a cottage on Ocean Drive, we tailor our service to your home’s age, use, and location. No franchise scripts, no rushed crews, just reliable, respectful service that keeps your chimney, and your family, safe year after year.
